Meet Dr. Hasan Zia, DDS

Board-Certified Sedation and Anesthesia Dentist in Frisco, TX

Dr. Hasan Zia has a decade of experience in the world of dentistry under his belt, and he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon! On top of being able to help others achieve their best smiles, he also loves the fact that he can make them feel comfortable and safe with his expertise in anesthesiology. While he was in school, Dr. Zia grew a deep passion for assisting the special needs population with dental care, so he decided to become an anesthesiologist. Today, he loves getting to know his patients as well as working alongside a caring and supportive team. Read on to learn more about his education and life outside of the dental office!

Where did you Study Anesthesiology?

Dr. Zia studied at the University at Buffalo in New York to obtain his undergraduate degree as well as his dental doctorate. He went on to complete a three-year dental anesthesiology fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital after graduating from dental school.

Today, he is board-certified by and a fellow of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and he’s also a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists. He’s been in private practice in the DFW area since 2018 and he’s always seeking continuing education to refine his knowledge and skills.

Dr. Zia also holds memberships in other professional organizations, including the:

• Society of Ambulatory Anesthesia

Outside of Dentistry, What do you like to do?

Whenever he isn’t at the office, Dr. Zia loves being at home with his family and his two wonderful daughters who mean the world to him. While he’s been in the Dallas area for many years, he actually grew up in Pakistan and enjoys visiting his hometown as well as other places when the opportunity presents itself. He also loves having BBQ cookouts with family and friends.
